Tri-City Ecology Center considers
environmental education as essential for the
success of future generations.
- TCEC maintains an office and
resource center at 3375 Country Drive in
Fremont. It is open Thursday fro 11:00
am to 2:00 pm or by appointment
- Eco-Logic, our newsletter, has been
informing our members and the community
about local and regional environmental
issues since 1971
- The TCEC website provides the
community with updated information, enviro-links, and volunteer
opportunities
- TCEC focuses on schools with our
outreach programs, including art
education, garden grants and teaching
units
- Our book donation program to the
Tri-City public libraries is an annual
tradition. Each year, since 1972, we
have donated $1,000 worth of
environmental books and videos to the
libraries and schools
- TCEC participates in community
events as an important component of our
education program
- TCEC networks with other groups
around the Bay to coordinate
environmental education efforts and
clean up and improve our natural areas
- TCEC serves as an information
resource for newspapers and other
communication media
